OK, that was a cheesy pun...

Hard selection, though "Don't You (Forget About Me) from Simple Minds from "The Breakfast Club" also "If You Leave" from OMD ("Pretty In Pink")  are probably among the best.

I've read several nagative comments about El DeBarge's "Who's Johnny?" ("Short Circuit"), but it's not that bad of a song. Smiley

It's a tough list to vote on because there are lots that are good, and it really depends on the mood as to if you like it, or find the track irritating.

I am guessing that these are all title tracks to films (not seen all the films that the suggested tracks come from).

I picked El Debarge, Simple Minds, and Huey Lewis. If the tracks are not the titles from the films, then for the Prince film soundtrack (Purple Rain) I would have picked either "Take Me With You" or "Purple Rain".

Most of those are good songs.  Contrast that list to a modern list and you can see how music has jumped the shark.

Tough choice, but Simple minds and OMD are 2 of my fave bands ever, so... Far above the rest.
