Another great long out of print tape featuring Deb's 'Electric Youth' tour and selected performances from The UK (Wembley), US (Omni), and Japan. Also doubt would ever be released on DVD.
Also includes music videos from 1988's "Staying Together" to "Anything Is Possible" from her then upcoming "Anything Is Possible" album and interviews shown throughout the tape inbetween songs. She performs a bit from "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" on piano inbetween two of the music videos.
The performances were mostly cuts from her 1989 "Electric Youth" album, two great songs that's not available anywhere else, and "Dance To The Music", which Deb performed Motown medlies/covers on the tour.
"
Don't Flirt With Me", The intro (featuring Deb, backup dancer Buddy Casimano, and backup singers) was great and kinda featured a bit of Deb's acting. Also the song featured great guitar riffs and should've been included on her "Anything Is Possible" album and could be a hit. Same said for "
Love Under My Pillow", a ballad featuring Deb and Keeth Stewart (backup dancer).
"Lost In Your Eyes", The bit of the interview overlaps the first few seconds of the performance. Though I like how various performances of the song were edited. Especially with Deb sitting on her piano.
Can't think of anything new, though I tend to be repetative sometimes...
About the interviews:
Deb appeared very casual, down to earth, and also mature for her age (19/20) where most of today's young pop acts in their later teens/early 20's tend to act ditzy and arrogant.
On one of the bits, she said something about not wanting to sound like she's 40 she'll turn 40 in 2010. Though she's also old enough to be a parent of a teenager herself.
Watching the video is like a time capsule of the era with the clothes, music, dancing, and when pop music was still good. Far different from the junk now. That said by somebody's who was more into "Ninja Turtles" at the time.
Not to mention Deb wearing bicycle shorts

Some things I like to mention:
During the first few performances on the tape, Buddy & Keeth wore matching shirts that's similar to what country singer Garth Brooks have worn (black/white). Not sure of the timeline.
During the scene of Deb in Japan, where she's sight seeing, she wore a loose tie. Those were in style a few years ago.
During the scene of Deb talking to legendary Motown producer/songwriter Lamont Dozier, Deb wore a opened stripe shirt with a bikini top showing her tummy.
One of the fans in the audience made headbanger hand gestures with the pinky & index finger sticking out.
The scene of Deb and security gaurds going through the audience was shown again during the "We Could Be Together" performance.
One of the backup singers have a slightly plump tummy and wore tight midriff showing outfits. Not a bad thing since she looked cute and appears average rather than looking like Kate Moss.
