Debbie Gibson: Glamorous At Last, Wants You To Know She's Still, Like, A Regular Girl from Entertainment Weekly site

A good article from 1990 about her "new house" (at the time), being a young pop singer/songwriter, music, Diane Gibson, and...oh, that she once had a pet bird named Mel Gibson.  Cheesy

I still have the Magazine it was a big spread on her at the time.  The photo of Deb sitting on her red T Bird that you use is actually from the very same magazine issue woops.  That was one of the last major multi page spreads she had when she was still considered a huge name.  Sad she never made the front cover of People or Entertainment weekly back then.  That might of been the first article where she talked about her parents had just divorced or were going through it.

I didn't read that article until years after it had come out.  In the days before the internet as we know it you either had to be lucky or things were passed along word of mouth.

To make the cover of an entertainment magazine today you have to be in the middle of a scandal.
