"Only In My Dreams" was #34 in the Fourth of July of 1987 (Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" was #1)  Cool

I still remember the first time that I saw the "Only In My Dreams" video.  It was on Vh1 in early June 1987.

(oddly the Top 40 was counted down by former MTV VJs on Sat night)

"Only In My Dreams" is playing while I'm typing...

80's at 8 XM is hosted by the surviving MTV VJs like Martha Quinn and Mark Goodman.

Appears that they're not showing anymore vintage American Top 40 with Caesy Kasem countdowns

Yeah I think XM/Sirus 80's on 8 October 1st.  Allen Hunt said Casey retired so they decided not to play him anymore.  I heard Deb on my way home from chruch this morning.   It's funny they never played any from 1989 with Deb it was always 87 or 88.

Yeah I do too and it usually went off at noon.  I remember when Shadow Stevens took over they started airing it at night and it went off close to 11pm or mid night.
