I remember that. It was 1989. That's when Deborah was going through her Bohemian look. She didn't stick with that look for long which was fine with me because it wasn't one of my favorite looks that she's had.

 1987/1988 (more likely 1988) Even though Deb was an '80's teen idol, for some reason she reminds me more of a throwback to the 1950's or '60's (ie Sandra Dee). |

That photo was from 1987. It was one of her early photo shoots.
I remember Deborah being called "the Connie Francis of the '80s" in the early days of her career. At least that was what Vh1 called her.

When I go back and read some interviews with Deborah from 20 years ago it stuns me how much maturity she had at such a young age.
