This board is dead so I thought I would start a new topic.
Is the flunky as dead as Skirts?
Was it all hype by Deborah and because the fans listen to her and follow things she talks about that people knew about it?

I agree since it's been about two or three years and nothing have been mentioned about it despite that it was/is stated on the news on her official website that's "it's in pre-production".

A couple months ago Deb said with along with Jimmy van patten in audience at Harrah's they were going too have some kind of read through with newly acquired backers this fall. I am not sure when or if that has or will take place.

I've been hearing of a new Whitney Houston CD now for about eight years. I would love to see her make some new music but who knows if it's ever going to happen?

I think she can still sing but I'm not sure if record labels want to give her a contract. They won't give her one but they will give Paris Hilton one.

it doesn't make sense at this point to release a new album if thats what the tv pitch is going to be based around

It's been about 5 years waiting on this album. The reality show thing pitching been going on since last September. so at this rate we have another 5 years or more to go.

To be honest I would rather wait a long time for a new album than have her churn them out as if they were on an assembly line like B.S. did because then they wouldn't be her best efforts. Come to think of it, B.S. hasn't had an album out in some time now and I kind of wonder if she will ever put one out again?
